Blue Jaipur Palace Kantha Bedspread & Euro Set

A design inspired by the carvings found in the palaces of Jaipur, this Bedspread and European pillowcase Set, comes in a lovely blue colour sitting on an almost pale blue to a white background.

Beautifully handmade by Indian artisans & finished off with the age old "kantha" stitch. "Kantha work" is a family skill (an embroidery) passed on from mother to daughter, originating from India, wherein old cloth pieces are stitched together using the running stitch to make light weight quilts or throws.  (Kantha Stitch on 1 side only).
